Personally, I am fan of Dierks and would be excited to see him at a small venue like the Sheridan…but now I am conflicted because I would also love to see Yonder.
I’m sure you all think me crazy, but I’ve found that some of the most enjoyable sets come from the bands you least expect…
Now I can only keep my fingers crossed for the all-venue pass so I can do some cross mountain stage hoping. :thumbsup
if I remember correctly, you can only order online?? Also, I’d get on there minutes before, as the website gets SOO SLOW due to all the traffic . . . I’ve gone on the minute they go onsale and haven’t gotten any, I’ve also gotten all I wanted at times as well . . . there’s no tellin!
Dustin, are all-venue access transferable? For example, let’s say I get shut out but I have a friend who also enters and gets one, can’t make TBF, and wants to give me his wristband - will that work?
Billy- That would work. The person who technically won the All-Venue Pass (AVP) has the ability to change the name of the person who will pick it up. So, in your case, if your friend cannot make Telluride but had previously won an AVP, he could change the name on the list to yours and it would then be your pass.
I really hope that isn’t the case because there will be a TON of people who aren’t even planning on going to TBF who will enter the lottery and either give them to friends or scalp them. I really hope they make the person who actually wins and pays for the tickets pick them up!!
Da Virgin…you’ll quickly learn that Telluride, for the most part, is our little secret. We don’t have a big problem with scalpers, as long as you don’t tell them about us.
We’ve always allowed folks to transfer Will Call tickets, and the All Venue pass is no exception. Of course, if the trend changes to us seeing some abuse of the lottery/ scalping…we’ll reevaluate.
Luckily for us, and you, that hasn’t been a problem in the past. :hop
Nobody that I have ever gotten to know at the festival or on this forum would accept scalpers. We festivarians tend to dislike them and aren’t willing to use their tricksyness to our advantage. :thumbsup
I live in Denver and just about every TP ticket I’ve seen come up for sale is asking for a premium. Yeah, most people on this board and the people I’ve met at the festival wouldn’t do it, but there are definitely people that do.
But really, I’m not as worried about scalpers as I am about people gaming the system. I guess you either learn to play the game or deal with the consequences.
I can’t argue there. No matter what event, there are going to be scalpers…however, they don’t deal with us too much because the Festivarian nation showers them with offers for face, and very rarely do they ever get more money for the tickets.
If you don’t buy the inflated priced tickets, they will send them back for a refund before losing money…then we’ll sell them on our Returned Ticket Resale!

how fast will single show tickets sell out?
[/quote
good question. my guess is pretty damn quick, within the day for the top shows. YMSB will go really fast!!
i hopin for mumford, and drew shows…
may the force be with you :rock
Will there be an option BESIDES will call for the Nightgrass tickets? Having the only ticket option to be at will call makes getting into the show when the doors open impossible since doors and willcall are at the same time. Just wondering…
So, Mr. Bush is on Tonight Show with Dierks tomorrow night? Guessing if he’s on his record, Sam’ll be at the Sheridan with him on Wed 6/16…might have to buy ANOTHER ticket! :cheers
