December 31 1989, me and 14,000 other deadheads had our freaking minds blown by the final show by New Grass Revival. Words cannot describe how quickly the crowd was in their pocket. It was instantaneous love. It also paved a new path towards new grass and roots music for RnR fans who had never heard Bela or Sam before.
Was anyone else there that night?
30 years to the day, it still is a monster!

Cheers big ears!
Much love to Tahlequah and all Tahlequanos. Many of my best friends could come from there.

I missed it, probably cause I was still reeling from the Loma Prieta earthquake two months prior.
Thanks for sharing. :thumbsup
