Newbie here...tell me what I need to know!!!

Don’t leave your wallet in your tent… it will slide into some obscure tucked under corner, leaving you fully convinced you lost it until its time to pack up!

Thanks for all the great advice from everyone! I guess it didn’t occur to me that there would be an ATM…duh. lol

The ATM is in town , not fest grounds but 5 minute walk at most

For the record, this is experience talking.
You should have seen his face when he found that wallet! :medal

There is an atm right across the street from the main entrance into the festival grounds…this will be my 30th Telluride Bluegrass Festival so if u Any questions about the town or the festival ask away

You need to have a newbie party…plan it and they will come… :cheers

woohoo sounds good to me :cheers

That DOES sound like a good idea…I might just do that! Thanks gapple!

I just read that coconut water has much more potassium than bananas… Good to know for those preparing for the altitude

:lol :lol :lol

With or without rum!!! :pirate
:cheers

Anyone NOT drinking rum with their coconut water GETS THE HOSE!

Not to mention NOT drinking alcohol can be dangerous. Our first TBF my wife was so paranoid about the heat/altitude that she drank so much of that fresh mountain spring water she suffered from hyponatremia and ended up throwing up in the weeds in front of the Tibetan Monks. :frowning:

True story. Then on the bus back to Mary E. I mentioned to the driver that she was having issues…and when we got there he announced very loudly that everyone should remain seated as we had a sick women in the back of the bus…and we preceded the walk of shame :rolleyes while everyone stared at us waiting for her to :hooch

So be careful out there kids…NOT drinking is dangerous business! :drunk

Walk of shame :lol :lol :lol :lol I can see this. :lol :medal

Another newbie question…where in town to get a good tat? good to know in advance. just in case

Like Tattoo? Mountain Biking.

Haha…so true! Oddly I don’t think Telluride has a tattoo shop. At least last time I wandered through. But you never know what new stores spring up every year.
