I am thinking of renting a fuel efficient car and driving to telluride. I am looking for a rider or two to share expenses. Divided by 4 car & gas would be about $120 each round trip (17.5 hours each way) . Divided by 3 car & gas would be about $150 each round trip verses the train $250 rt ( 26 plus hours each way) and then you are stuck in Grand Junction a 3 hour drive. $100 each way to get a shuttle to telluride.
