Music on the Mountaintop in Boone, NC is the first large scale green music festival of its kind in Western NC.
The 2010 featured non-profit is Appalachian Voices. For more information, check out: http://www.appalachianvoices.org/
In addition there will be a river clean up Friday August 27th sponsored by Appalachian State University’s Sustainable Development Program and the National Committee for the New River. And the Solar Stage provided by the Appalachian State Energy Center will be back again this year too. Plus, all vendors will required to serve with only compostable materials.
