i really feel her comments were misconstrued by our politically correct world. it is almost as if they were said in jest, sarcastic in a way but people are so touchy these days and she really did not know how to backtrack on her comment after the poop hit the fan, so to speak. or maybe not. maybe i am giving to much of the benefit of the doubt. but whatever, we got the monks now.
I think you may possibly be right about her comments being in jest, but it seems like everything she said/says is so convoluted and unpredictable (and just…strange…), that putting her on stage is a risk, what with the other stories out there about unpredictable behavior at her shows. She seems mentally unstable, which is sad. The monks are a wonderful replacement, and I look forward to all of their contributions to the festival.
