Planet Bluegrass has one no alcohol campground and its the High School- please respect those rules. :thumbsup

Just trying to be amusing friend. Not bothered by the family friendly campground, just somewhat bothered by the extreme expense of this endeavor and only to find out I might not catch all of nightgrass. You’d think the shuttle would run 24 hours.

:wave You will get so much music in during the day that you just may decide you need a good night’s sleep and end up not going to nightgrass. Don’t stress so much over it, it all works out the way it is supposed to. There are several places that serve food pretty late so you can always eat after the fest is over for the day, then you may not crave a late-night snack. I know at the Palm they did have some munchies for sale. :popcorn
Just remember that you are among friends, you are ALL there to have a good time. It’s a marathon, not a sprint. Pace yourself, don’t suffer from FOMO, and you will have the best time ever. If you get there pre-fest, please come up to Run A Muck and introduce yourself. Much knowledge can be gained there. hee hee :cheers :evil

See, I was told by a dear friend that nightgrass is the highlight of Telluride. This is my 30th birthday present to myself. As I enter into adulthood and gaze upon the depressing sights of friends getting married and getting pregnant intentionally, as I see my drinking tolerance go down and the need for exercise increase, I am craving one last tour of the battlefield. I picked Telluride so I am hoping to suck all the marrow out of this experience that I can.

No High School camoground then if you want to raise some hell!!!

I almost positive there are no rattlesnakes in Telluride (too high elevation), and my guess is that Illium is at most 1,000 feet lower … so you’re probably OK. I do know they live in Norwood though, so I guess it’s possible … but very unlikely.

Both The Palm and SOH are very close to shuttle stops as well. If you’re pushing it for time, just stand by the door for the encore and get out before the crowd.
