First time at TBGF and we have questions about high school campground. We’re arriving Wednesday evening after dinner.
Assuming there is no space to park at HS and are forced to park in Mountain Village, how close will we be able to pull the vehicle to the HS campground? And how long roughly will we have to unload and possibly setup camp before having to move the vehicle?
If we do have to move our vehicle to Mountain Village, what’s the traffic going to be like?
We have our campground email confirmation, but will we have to pick up our bracelets before we claim our site at the HS campground?
You’ll have plenty of time to offload. It will just be a short walk into the campground. Maybe 50 to 100 yards max depending on where you set up. Breath and make a cool headed decision on where to stake camp, you’ll have the time.

Only other advice is if nighttime quiet is important don’t cam close to the back fence near the apartments/condos. Late night partying 20 somethings will keep your youngsters awake.
