I stayed at Lawson one year… it was awesome!!! Just be sure to bring shade!

whats the latest people recommend showing up to lawson? will it it be a clusterf*ck arriving early wednesday evening? I live in Denver and my friend has to work till noon on Wed so we probably wouldt get to telluride until ~7pm. I was considering trying to find a ride down Monday or Tuesday? I assume earlier would always be better, but how crowded will it be by Wednesday night!?!?!
I’ll be at Lawson! One in our group has stayed there before and liked it, and the location seems convenient. Bring a bike. The high school is supposed to be the quiet family spot, so i doubt you’re missing the scene there. It aint TP, but I’ve got high hopes for my first fest! I dunno about the cluster@*@k but we’re arriving Wednesday earlier and I was told that should be fine… If your not in a hurry to get to Yonder I wouldn’t worry, but earlier would get ya some time to hang down at the TP pre-fest! WOOT WOOT! I’m am totally pumped at being with everyone from Lawson! I’m a newb to TBF, volunteering again, last year represented Rockygrass at the gates, so you might know me, and I might know whats in your bags :lol

Super excited…staying at Lawson for my very first festival with two friends from grad school. Unfortunately, we’ll be arriving from Denver sometime Friday evening, so I’m hoping to god it’s not going to be a complete cluster. I’m just grateful to have gotten camping passes and tickets to see Mumford so I don’t really care where the hell I sleep as long as I get to experience this and meet cool people. Can’t wait to see you all there…
