John Denver Tribute Feb 10 in Nederland - benefit for RINK

Friends,

On February 10 at 4:00, Mountain Community Music and Arts Association (MCMAA) will host “A Tribute to John Denver” at the Nederland Community Center Auditorium.

This fun community event will feature local musicians, including Ray Smith and Cari Minor, Rebecca Folsom and Chris Malley, and Scott Von.

John Denver was a gifted singer-songwriter, performer, environmentalist and humanitarian and often referred to as “America’s Troubadour,” and “A Song’s Best Friend.” His songs have that timeless and magic combination of lyric and tune that “stick with you” and encourage listeners to sing along, which I’m sure we all will!

The concert will benefit “RINK” (Racquets and Ice for Nederland Kids) in support of the outstanding work they have done. Thanks to the hard work of RINK volunteers, Nederland now has three regulation-size tennis courts and an Olympic-size ice rink. A silent auction will be held during the reception with the artists immediately following the concert.

MCMAA will present a $100 music and art scholarship to a deserving middle/high school student during the show.

Come join the Nederland community as we support RINK and enjoy some terrific music together.

Suggested donation is $12.00 for adults. Kids 12 years and younger are free.
For concert reservations visit MCMAA.org, or phone (303) 258-1418.

I’m-a be there. Give me a shout if you will too!

We had a wonderful Sunday afternoon turnout and the Ned RINK folks were delighted with the help.
