Isn’t it time for the big tease to start?

I know you are all thinking thanksgiving but downunder we are thinking of the big tease…come on Ferg, time to start tantalising us with tiny little morsels.

Who is coming next year? You know you want to give us a hint. Please…

Excited!

And happy soon to be thanksgiving from my country to yours

:flower :flower

:wave :wave No thongs here Winter rollin in soon and Ferg he is out milkin cows. :lol :lol I woild pay money to see that!!!

Greensky and Alison for sure this year. Just a feeling. Why does PBG hold back. Cause they love that slow tease…drives me nuts. :medal

For Certain:

Sam B
Bela F
Jerry D
Edgar M
Tim O
Peter R
Chris T
“YMSB” (Wed @ Conference, Fri @ SOH, Sat @ TP late afternoon) & no Jeff Austin presence are all “locks”.

At least half of the following:

ISD
Greensky
Emmylou
The Cow (in some incarnation)
Alison Krause
A McCoury presence
Elephant Rivival

Add the above two groups together and throwing in a couple few “up and coming” lesser known acts & a couple few “bigger names” (but not quite “headliners”) that don’t make it to TBF regularly.

Personally, I’ll be watching to see if Leftover Salmon makes it back on to the lineup. However, beyond that … the Monte Hall routine pertains to only about 20% of the lineup.

I’m With Her :medal See You Around THE WORLD tour all spring, why wouldn’t PB bring them to TBF? Of course they would…
:sunshine

:lol He said “Monte Hall” :lol :lol :medal

They sound so very good!!! :medal

As someone who doesn’t have cable/tv … I’m not always up to date on such matters, so couldn’t resist looking it up. Didn’t realize there’s a “new” LMAD.

^ the chart at the bottom reminds me of what you see for bands with a long history and changing changing cast members (i.e. Doobie Brothers).

Ah, wise one, Ye know Ye festival.

The Cow??? I’m looking this up, but I don’t understand…

What does this mean? :star: Is it a reference to Ferg’s new place or is there a mythical US band I’ve never heard of?

Ah, you know that would make me so very, very happy!

I tell you, if Billy Strings is on the list with Greensky and AKUS I will buy all my Festy friends a round!

It is 31 degrees Celsius today and it’s only spring, a long hot summer ahead.

Come visit us

Ferg, we want to see you milking a cow please!

The Cow - I’m pretty sure he’s referring to the one and only fantastic voice of John Cowan. :thumbsup

Have him bring the rest of the Doobie Brothers along with him. :cheers

I would love to visit! Never been :flower

I saw Ferg today out in the fields looks good milkin cows. Who knew!

Not sure about wise, maybe just somewhat observant. However, probably sold the “for certain” category short, since there’s invariably at least one interesting collaboration of musicians in this group (apart from the House Band). The positive aspect of this can’t be understated enough, at least in so far as the cross-pollination in context of tradition aspect of things.

Yes, Tom is correct re: the Cow, who seems to be on the every 2-3 year plan … although maybe LS is on to something! :lol

PPPPPPPPPPPPPPPLEASE!!! This would be EPIC!

The Eagles – Don Henley, Joe Walsh & Timothy B. Schmit, with Vince Gill and Deacon Frey :medal :medal :medal

The Eagles are actually playing in Denver on June 28th, with Jimmy Buffet. It would be nice if some of them snuck over to Telluride beforehand.
Speaking of old time bands, here’s one I would like to see. Both of these guys have played here before, but not together. One just last year. How about some Hot Tuna? Sammy can help out and do his impersonation of Papa John Creech. :cheers

I’m With Her would be so awesome to see on the main stage!

I did notice that the Avett Brothers are playing their usual multi-day Red Rocks shows a few weekends earlier this year and it’s actually the weekend after TBF. Just throwing that out there. :wave

This fall Taj Mahal and Keb Mo toured as a duo. That would be really killer!

Talkin my language Buck! :medal :medal :medal

Ferg. Just do it. :lol

Girl Power. Come on Ferg, make us smile! I can just imagine the Festy crowd singing and dancing to Jimmy Buffet, what a party boy he is. :flower :flower

I would not be surprised to see Jason Isbell, Shakey Graves, or Chris Stapleton with SteelDrivers.

Ya know I sure am digging Elephant Revival these days. Love their sound. :medal

I don’t even have a ticket but old habits die hard. :lol

Just do it! :flower
