First time to Telluride… can’t wait… but now have a conflict and can’t get there by Saturday. Have TP Camping pass. But can’t get there until late Monday. Is the by chance a Sherpa group that I could pay to set up a spot and my Tent on Saturday?
You’ll still be able to find a spot by late Monday or early Tuesday. By Wednesday things will get a bit tighter, so I don’t think you really need a Sherpa, but someone could always pop up and volunteer for you.

What Tom says. You will miss some fun events that happen on Saturday and Sunday, but come Monday there will still be lots of open space, especially for a solo camper. If you had a group of 10 who all wanted to be together, you’d probably want to do Sunday.
