We’re first timers and bringing a dobro and 2 guitars. Camping in Meadow park without a vehicle. Is there any on site storage for non performer jammers who don’t want to leave instruments in hot car or tent? :huh
not aware of anything. Most everyone I know leaves them in a hot car or tent.
You could bring them with you on site but don’t think that would not be any easier on them.
I have an upright and it sleeps with us. If there is enough room around I have small popup
for it I can set up.
I was always tought treat your instruments like you would your dog, don’t leave them in a hot car.
At 140* the glue holding your guitar’s and dobro’s together will come back to life and your instrument will fold in half, or hit the top of it’s case. when it cools there, this is it’s new shape, not playable.
Happens every year at Rockygrass.
Make a friend with a camper or a shaded tent spot, worst case, carry it with you.
140* is the majic #. I’m a local builder so you can trust me on this one.

And if I treat my instrument like my dog, it will be treated well indeed. good advise.
