Initial 40th Anniversary Lineup

Jackson sat in with Bob Weir the other night, and reports from the attendees were that jAckson was outstanding. Just saying…

fairly mean thing to say about a man who’s wife committed suicide.

Such passion, such control. Gossip aside, he is a master at delivery

a telluride without del? i would be shocked. besides we would love to see another nightgrass with peter rowan and the travelin mccourys. we thought it was the best nightgrass show we saw last year. it was an incredibly emotional show for kristina and i. I lost two very close family members in 2012 and was having a very hard time saying goodbye to them. man, peter and the mccourys just opened that door for me and i was able to say goodby to both my uncle and niece during the show. i think i cried like a little baby the whole show and had such a huge weight lifted off of me. i slept better that night than i had in months. and they did bluegrass the way it is supposed to be done. the power of the bluegrass music, it never ceases to amaze me.

That is a beautiful story. Music is indeed a healer and can just bring things to the surface. How lucky are we to just be in the same space at the same time. To hear each note, do we hear it the same, each word, do they have different meanings to us all. It is one of lifes beautiful gifts to come together in music and dance. :cheers

Wow, didn’t realize this! Just did some digging and here ya go:

:woohoo :thumbsup :thumbsup
Woohoo! Two thumbs up.

I’m another plus for Greensky. And RRE?
:dance

(And who made all these emoticons? They are amazing.)

Greensky and Railroad would be awesome!

Del McCoury and Sam Bush at the Boulder Theater March 24th if that helps!

Greensky and Railroad Earth for me too please

GREENSKY, PLEASE! :thumbsup

YES.

I would want RRE and GSBG over Neil and Mumford. Pretty please?

You’re certifiably insane if you want anything over Neil.

Oh there is no such thing as a bad lineup so get over it :lol :lol :lol

If it’s a warm Summer night and the stars are bright and my hips start to sway and I know not what day
Are you kidding, who cares :medal CAN WE LEAVE YET!? :flower

I couldn’t agree more. I’ve started walking to and from work this week (I need to get healthy for this summer) and it takes about half an hour one way. Which is just about right to listen to a whole Stringdusters album. Which I’ve been singing along to as I walk (pity those neighborhoods).

I’ve been doing the same. 25 minute walk there and a 25 minute walk back. It helps that I live in such a beautiful area. No matter which direction I’m walking, I see mountains. I’ve been able to listen to albums and lots of shows by the Dusters. They’ve edged their way into my 5 favorite still active bands/artists (along with Sam, Darrell, LoS and RRE). The new directions they’ve taken without Jesse has shown me a new side of them that I really like.

Another vote for Greensky and RRE. What about Ry Cooder?
And please bring back the Pastor for the 40th. None of the past emcees has the panache of the Pastor

Hey, while we’re young! It’s time for you fellers to release the complete line-up. Thank you! :wave

I have to admit he was fun to hear again last summer and that stmblin’ on the stage routine was fun to watch. When everyone was on stage for the finale he mozied on stage again and and I was laughing thinking he was going to play another joke but he was actually up there to sing. And on that note I like his swing and Band. He can be a tad cad however… :flower a break is always good :lol can we leave yet, will the Mik find a 4 dayer. Who knows but may the power of the presence of Fest be with you. :flower
