How to prepare for Town Park !!!!

Running ??? Now hold on don’t give the impression we’re all going to join in.

I’m an Olympic class snorer so I will have to get some training in sometime.

You finally do get tea in the States and then you get offered soya milk - food of the devil. I remember a particular nasty experience my wife had on the Circle Line Cruise boat.

Now I know that my UK/US translations are not perfect, but isn’t a creek normally something with water in it?

Perhaps the singers could perform from Bear Creek, I however have a guitar to keep dry. (Phew, got out of that one well!)
:rolleyes :rolleyes

Not a bit of it! Considering how we both interpret bits of the same language differently on either side of the pond, getting you into Bear Creek may be considered hydration. Besides, I’m planning on being on a tea run when the sacrifices take place.

OMD? Enola Gay?!? Sorry but you’ve totally lost me… :huh
My patchy english culture has failed me once again, so I hope I haven’t missed something major…

Mid-Eighties?? pop. Orchestral Manouevres In The Dark had a track called Enola Gay. They had a lot of great tracks as well but that was the reference to the plane that either carried or dropped the big one.

Can’t see a synth band making it at TBF though. Doesn’t mean I won’t be playing some in my tent. :eek

Could you please either use headphones or move your tent out of earshot?

OMD should, like the Egyptian Pharaohs, be preserved in large, soundproofed buidlings in the middle of the desert. I’m all for esoteric music choices Tony, but please …
:frowning:

Harsh but fair I’d say.

(still going to sneak some in though)

I think you all missed the ball on this one.

The OMD reference was for Joan Of Arc (Maid Of Orleans), the french one.

Im sure it was folky types that kept Vienna from No1 by buying Joe Dolce…

Could be, but it was the lame joke about LaLaGay/Enola Gay I was trying to enlighten LaLagay to.

But anything that disses Joe Dolce can’t be bad.

Mark, can you turn up that Three Girls and Their Buddy recording you’ve been playing…I can’t hear it to well over here?

Ive opened the window.

Now I’m really confused, if OMD = Joan of Arc (although Enola Gay was mentioned) & we’re now onto Vienna (which was by Ultravox) …

… which one of those tunes did you say Greensky Bluegrass would be playing?

:eek

Just three words of wisdom for you boys! Sunscreen! Suncreen! Sunscreen!
The sun and not ducking out for a litte shade at alltitude can be a real party stopper. Perge!

Tony, that IS the kind of stuff that the local law (Colorado Marshall’s Office) WILL Confiscate!

DON’T DO IT MAN! :lol
