Hippie from Olema show and chat session

I saw it :wave

Gaaarrrrrrgggghhhhh! Sheesh! I had totally planned on dropping in on the chat and then I got all caught up trying my hand at making my own tortillas and totally missed it!

In case anybody is interested how my tortillas came out… I found that tortilla press is absolutely a MUST!
Gee…how do those women do it with just a wood dowel??? Years of experience, I guess!

Peace, Festival and Tortillas!

Connie

BUMP!!! :thumbsup

Hi Folks! :wave

Tonight 3.24.08 will feature a live interview with the beautiful Kate Mann, she rocked the Old Western last night.

(I corrected the old redirect link above)

GrandMa did them by hand! :clap

Rice is easy darhlin, it 's keeping the fresh pasta moist enough to roll wihtout drying out in the high mt air open kitchen that was a bitch. Then there was all of that flour on everyone, we looked like ghosts. It’ll be a long time before we have a home made pasta feed in camp :lol :lol :lol

I promise to boil some rice just for you, rice cookers are for sissy’s not yuppies :flower

:cheers

And on that note, let me be the first to add…

Hi gang :wave

Tonight I’ll be having a quick phone interview with the South Austin Jug Band at about 7pm pacific. We’ll play some of their stuff of course.

The rest of the show will probably be all new releases.

Dustin, are you gonna tie a string around your finger so you’ll remember this time. :lol

I’m not showing up till nightgrass is announced. :lol

Hey, sorry I dropped off chat last night. I was messing with the security of my wireless network and kicked myself offline for a while. Duh!!

I had connectivity issues of my own last night.

Not computer wise, me and reality.

Last minute reminder! :flower

Hey Folks :wave
It’s pledge drive time at KWMR. I will be sharing my pledge drive show on Monday April 14th with the one and only David Gans. We will be pitching the concept of community radio and David will be featuring some of his new personal music releases. I’m sure the Grateful Dead Hour will only be mentioned in passing. :flower

:cheers :cheers :cheers :cheers

On my honor…I will try…(and I highly emphasize TRY!) to make it to chat tonight!

OMG Were you a girlscout.

:wave

By the way, if you haven’t stopped by the chat, it’s a fun time. If you can remember :eek to get there on Monday evenings. :cheers

:secret Ah yes…back in the day…I did spend a bit of time with that particular organization, I sold cookies for them a time or two or more!
Mom was a G.S. leader and Dad was a Boy Scout leader…I spent a lot of time camping with the Boy Scouts, probably more than G.S. campouts!
The guys sang songs like…

Comet…it tastes like gasoline…
Comet…it’ll make your face turn green!
Comet…it’ll make you vomit :hooch
So get some Comet…and vomit today!

Fun stuff! :giggle

“Suffocation this is suffocation suffocation the game we like to play,
first you take a garden hose, then you shove it up your nose
Turn it on, and your gone, weeeeeee”

We’ll have to share stories, My Mom just said “Everyone buys 10 boxes of cookies and I don’t care what you do with them.”

Just so you don’t forget! :thumbsup

I found a couple of real vinyl treasures at the Recycle circus yesterday and there may even be a live guest !

It’s the post pledge drive show so I really don’t want to talk.

:cheers
