last night at steve’s guitars in Carbondale Colorado, the " hickory project" was hotter than a Hickory fire…
from the first song the audiance was applauding the solos, and the great licks continued through the night…
they played two sets of some of the best bluegrass I have ever heard… with two great guitarists. a world class mandolin player and the banjo player was having more fun than a kid on double recess… not to mention a great fiddle player…
seriously, this band has played with vasser clements and jimmy martin so you know they have great chops…
they are touring in the west for a week and then back to the east coast…
I think these guys would easily win the band contest hands down…
