I SO appreciate the fairness of the new line procedure! After the first day’s messiness it worked well. Thank you so much for giving everyone a chance to be an early runner.
However, the negative aspect of the line is that, instead of inconveniencing one person (the line sleeper), now all campers are made to get up very early. And when u look like me, the more beauty sleep the better
So my suggestion is simple: please DELAY the line a bit. Dragging my butt outta bed is ugly at anytime. But 7 am is downright painful.
Yes we campers do need a little time to get out runners prepared. But even another hour or so would be appreciated by us old farts.

If 6:45-7:00 is an issue, I can guarantee from personal experience that if nature doesn’t place a call you can’t refuse, you can exit tent 7:15-7:30 and get a number, no problem.
Given that the process takes about 45 mins to an hour, the 7 o’clock slot also allows just enough time for trades among festivarians and time to strategize/organize before line-up.

It worked, I recommend not messing with it…damn, now I’m a traditionalist.
