Did the Grocery store next to Baked in Telluride re-open?
According to the internet the Village Market is still closed.
But a new store South’s Market delivers Costco if that helps.
It was open when I was there over the winter. We should be good.
:wave I can let you know on or about june 7th. I’ll have to get a bacon fix before the crunchy frog arrives.

Wasn’t it to be a different store (name/owner) than it was before it closed?
Yes, “The Mark-Up at Telluride” has been open since sometime in the middle of last summer. Unfortunately, they’re priced wayyyyy higher (on average) than the old Village Market. I used to go to Clarks for some things and the old Village Market for others, but after the VM changed hands & jacked up their prices, I don’t even bother going in there unless it’s a matter of convenience re: a small item if I happen to be in the center of town & in the midst of doing something.
As far as other changes to other businesses:
Sunshine Pharmacy is under new ownership and moved to next door to the Music Store’s new home. I still get my Rx there as well as OTC & find the pricing to be comparable to old store. A new Visitor’s Center is currently being build where the old pharmacy was located.
Steaming Bean has been closed since April 2015. The New Sheridan took over their space, but have been severely stalled over structural issues. Just peeked inside today and it’s almost completely gutted.
However, there is a brand new Coffee / Tea House next to Patagonia named “Ghost Town”, just had a coffee there today. I think they’ll have a nice outdoor space in the summer:

OB’s closed @ their old location & is also in the midst of being completely gutted … I don’t know what’s going in there, but OB’s is now taking over The Moon’s space & calling itself O’bannon’s. Unfortunately, the new owner is not keen on music so much & is scaling back shows to 1-2 per month. Great for those who like to drink in the day, but HUGE blow to local music scene! Not sure what they have planned for Bluegrass, and they’re in the midst of a bit of a remodel:

Not sure if I’m missing any other big changes, and last but definitely not least is the brand new location for Taco del Gnar in Telluride (near Elks Park). They’ve been a favorite stop in Ridgway for past couple few years & are working hard to get things open by bluegrass:

:wave Awesome report friend. We’ve been trying to source our fresh veggie needs downtown for a couple of years. The trip to Clarks is a it longer, we’ll just count on it.
On a side note - Camp Run a Muck will be happy to to serve you fresh ground roasted coffee form the Unseen Bean in Lafayette each day of the festival.
We’re trying to stay green and sustainable for all of us…

Hippie there is a farmer’s market too but I can’t remember which day it is held. Thursday or Friday it seems.
Farmers market is pretty good for meat and cheese. Veggies are in short supply that time of year. Everything is VERY pricey at the Telluride Farmers Mkt, really good but extremely pricey if your shopping for camp.
