We camped at Lavern Johnson this week (and had a lovely time there!) and walked or shuttled to get to the fest and back. But during the midday heat and at the end of the show each night, we were wishing we could hitch a ride on one of the golf carts zipping around town! Is there a permit you can buy from the town/PB to park a golf cart at the festival gate? Do they pick up hitchhikers? 
Just planning for next year… how can I join the golf cart crew?
Golf carts are legal to drive on Lyons’ streets but not the highway (Main Street and Broadway) although the blocked off part of the highway alongside the ranch seems to be fine. Normal driving rules apply and you can still get a DUI in a golf cart. Not that you necessarily need to know that part but ya know, just in case.
No permit needed for parking.
