My friend and I are aging hippies in our mid-70’s, and will be attending the festival for the first time. We will be staying at a hotel in Ridgway and commuting each day, (We’re too old to camp, and this was the cheapest hotel option we could find.) I understand that we will need to park at the city parking garage, then take a shuttle to the gondola, take the gondola to town, then walk five blocks to Town Park. How long will this process take, and are there any alternatives? Also, we are going to one of the Nightgrass concerts at the Palm Theatre. I understand the theatre is on the other side of two from the Festival. Is there a shuttle? And after the concert, do we then need to go back to Town Park and repeat the process of taking the gondola and shuttle to parking? Or is there an easier way to get to parking from the theatre? About an hour drive from Ridgeway. Parking is at Mountain Village, walk to Gondola where depending on the time of day there may be a line. Gondola ride is about 10+ minutes, then a 5-10 walk to Town Park. There are shuttles to get from TP to Palm. You won’t need to return to TP after night grass.
Hello, I’m staying at the Bivvi Hostel and an old hippee without a car… and a Deadhead professional responsible sober active and fun mature women. I trusting I’ll find good peeps to ride with and share gas back and forth… could this be you two? Hoping!

Thanks for the response, Todd. Looks like we should probably allow around 45 minutes to get from parking to Town Park. But I need some clarification about getting to parking from the Palm Theatre after Nightgrass. Should we plan on walking to the Gondola Station from the Palm? Or is there a shuttle to either the gondola or to parking?
Not sure if town shuttles run that late. About 1/2 mile walk or so from palm to gondola.
