I was given the gift of Bacon Salt last year at TBF by our “Tarp 9” crew (Malcolm, Kari, Craig, and Peter) and I can testify that it is delightful, vegetarian (for those who care), and very bacony in taste. I highly recommend it as an emergency backup item in case of sudden bacon deficiency.

I wonder if they could be cooked ahead of time and reheated? That would save some time in the morning in camp. (TOM) I don’t know if I could survive smelling it cooking for 2 or 3 hours! That would really be a test of our stamina in the quest for bacon.
