First Time TBF Attendee + Camper!

Hi all! This will be my first time attending TBF and I’m so excited! I’ll only be going to the Thursday set, and I was wondering if anyone had advice or tips to share?

I’m hoping to camp, though I know it’s a bit last minute. I won’t be able to get to Telluride until Thursday morning. The hotels and Airbnb’s nearby are extremely expensive. It looks like the only option still available for me is Lawson Hill Camping. Is that a good spot? Anywhere else I can camp, maybe with a vehicle if possible? Any tips for camping there or advice about parking? Anything important I should know ahead of time?

Lawson is your best bet, get there Wednesday!

Solo Lawson Camper and volunteer here. I will be getting there and setting up Tuesday. If your just gonna be here 1 night than just bring a small tent&bag, and set up close to my camp. I literally will have extra of anything else you might need, including extra air mattresses, chairs, etc… Seriously, i get self conscious about my footprint for me being a solo camper, and the more people i get to join the better.
