Awesome lineup this year! Can’t wait for the 41st!
As a HUGE jackson Browne fan, I’m happy to see many people putting him in their “best set” list. I cannot join them. I just didn’t get the same feel from his TBF performance as I have in the many others I have attended. He just didn’t seem to connect with the audience like he always does in a hall. Hall audiences get real quiet during the songs, something the TBF crowds just cannot do (the main exception being the Allison Krause / Bobby McFerrin duet where you could hear a pin drop!). And when JB joined the House Band, he seemed lost.
Doesn’t really matter - I am still a huge JB fan. I was just hoping that he would put on a show that would make everyone in attendance feel the same way.
I have gone back and relistened to many of the sets from the festival, and Greensky Bluegrass gets my vote.
