Fastest way from DIA to Telluride?

70 to Carbondale???

The shortest way up is 285 to Buena vista (road ends in a T intersection), turn left 12 miles to turn off to Gunnison Valley, right follow this out of the mountains to Montrose, turn left to Ridgeway, right, on up to Telluride. Check a map for exact roads but this is the gist of it.

I-70 has faster speeds but add 75+ miles from Denver this way, and not near as nice a drive.

We did 70 once, and have never done it again.
