E-mail ticket problems

Hi all. It’s my first time on the Forum but I’ve been around Town park for a while.
My name is Ted over the bridge in primitive. I had the home made pickles for Bloody Mary Monday last year.
Any way, I’m just wondering if anyone else has had this problem:
My mother entered the lottery for me this year and she did not receive a winning e-mail but her credit card was charged.
After emailing with Planet Bluegrass she was told that they’re having trouble with Hotmail, and that in-fact she had won but she never got the e-mail. We have yet to see our e-mail tickets and haven’t heard back from Planet Bluegrass on our recent e-mails of concern. I know its the holidays so I’m not expecting quick responses but I’m just getting concerned.

Hang in there, Ted. I’ve heard that some other tickets are happening a tad bit slower this year since it’s the first time for PDF tickets for Bluegrass and they’re working to make sure everything is 100% before the emails all go out. If the card was charged and you were told you drew lottery tickets then I can’t imagine that you have anything serious to worry about.

Thanks.
I actually just heard that not all tickets have been issued yet, so my worries are assuaged for now.

Indeed, Bevin is correct.

We’re trying to ensure that everything is in complete working order before we go sending out all the tickets.

We’ll be sending the vast majority of the tickets out later this week.

Hotmail, yahoo, and aol are the biggest culprits of sending us to junk. If you have one of those emails, keep an eye on your junk/spam folder and add us to your contacts/ safe list to help ensure that our emails make it to your inbox.

:cheers

What happens if we miss it? I’ve added you to my yahoo contacts but I get hundreds of spam email a day and they get deleted regularly. What if I miss the email?

Don’t worry Ted, you’ll be Mayor of Strugglesville again in about 7 months.

Sounds like you’ll miss the festival if you miss the email, be careful!

TED-Perhaps you should call PB and have them change those tickets to will-call. They should do with just a quick phone call… Well, I guess your mother will have to do it or whoevers name actually won… They can be put in your name

And Ted, Thanks for those pickles!!! Would love to have another batch this year…

:lol

We can always resend the emails. Debbie is right, if you’re worried about the email tickets just give us a call and we’ll switch them over to will call for you. That way all you’ll need to worry about is getting to Telluride with a photo ID. :flower

fyi: i just received my town park e-tickets this afternoon, thursday, nov 29th.

If someone else got the tickets in their name (this is someone we can totally trust), and has sent them to you so you have the pdf and the print-out but it has their name on it - is the fact that their name is on it a problem?

In other words, as long as we have the physical ticket are we OK?

Yes.

The name on the ticket has no bearing on who can use it. It’s just a summary of the order information.

One additional thing it does…
As long as the person that originally made the order keeps track of who they’ve sold it to there’s a trail in case more than one e-mail ticket is exchanged.
Just be sure you know who you’re buying from and nobody will lose out or get in hot water.
If someone tries to sell a ticket more than once then the chain is short as to who is responsible. :thumbsup

Thanks Dustin and Tom

I will see you guys in June.
