Hey there! I’m going to be in Denver the week before. Would love any suggestions on the best walkable neighborhood to stay in for live music, cool bars, fun restaurants. And, if you know of any musicians from the festival playing in Denver the week before. Anything helps, thanks!

South Broadway or Rino (Larimer St betw Downtown and Downing). Check out Westword online for the bands that are playing and their venues.

Cervantes Ballroom and Other Side in Five Points often have bluegrass and jam bands but next week doesn’t look like much. Steph Strings is playing a free outdoor show with Patrick Dethlefs at Leavitt Pavillion on 6/6 which is off the beaten path but its a cool intimate venue. Stay near South Broadway (restaurants, bars) and uber or ride bikes there. There’s always live music on So Broadway at Hi-Dive, Skylar, HQ, Roxy and fun places to eat, thrift and browse around.
