Denver Sheet Music: Where to buy

Looking for sheet music, or books in Denver.

I know a few places on S. Broadway and Folklore Center in Pearl, but wondering if there was “THE” store in Denver that had more selection. Piano, banjo, guitar, mandolin

Not many places in Denver, other than what you’ve already stated. Mabe the Pickin’ Parlor in Arvada is worth a gander.

Have you tried online sources? … activemusician.com would be a place to maybe start.

Hope that helps.

Thanks… I have a music sheet emergency; l need it tomorrow is possible (what a life)

I give a call to Pickin Palor, maybe they’ll have what I’m looking for in.

The best place is mandolincafe.com or cowboysongs.com. If you look in the Advise for beginner tab there are a few more places listed…what song are you looking for. I have tons of tab but will be leaving for the day. Let me know if I can help. :flower

Thanks for the sites. I have anniversary party I am headed to, was looking for a couple books for gifts. I am not a player, but I love to encourage people who are learning. I see what I was looking for on-line; I guess they’ll just get them a week or so late.

Again thank you.

The Tejon Street Music store in Colorado Springs has a lot of bluegrass song and tab books available. The owner, John Ramsey is a great guy and he has one of the best acoustic string instrument collections for sale, new and vintage, west of the Mississippi. Last time I was in there I saw a package waiting to be shipped out addressed to David Grisman. John said it was a banjo and said David is a closet banjo player. It’s well worth a few hours drive to visit the store.

Ditto what RuffnRocky said. Tejon St. Music is a great little store. I have all repairs/adjustments done there. Great bunch of folks. I didn’t mention it due to the distance from Denver, but, it is definitely worth the drive to check out.
