Unless you have a free space to stay, I wouldn’t stay in Denver for a week. Maybe do a night in boulder and/or a night in Fort Collins. Walk around red rocks. Then stay in mountain towns on your way to telluride. If you are staying in Denver and if you like jazz, Dazzle is always good. 89.3 is local jazz station. Cervantes usually has some kind of bluegrass or jam band many nights in the week. Meow Wolf is with the price of admission. Denver art museum is cool too. Great beer culture in Denver. Same of true for Fort Collins. You could easily also do day trips to Estes, RMNP, FoCo, Golden and Boulder. But I’d get into the mountains if you can
