DC Power in the field

Howdy all.

Lookin to acquire a new rechargeable source of power for my rig (beyerdynamic mv-100, Sony M-1, and Korg MR-1) Anyone have any suggestions? I’ve got multiple voltage requirements, as each one has a different need.

Thanks in advance for the help!

david

Son, you just need to Plant Your Field and soon you’ll be trouble free.

Not much power out there atal…

Even the stage is run off of big ol biodiesel gens…

Seriously, there are a few power cords here and there, but require sleuthing and axing permission and being sneaky all at the same time. I am sure there are some plugs in the wall at the library just a few short block from the venue main gate.

Also, during the day, I have liberated a electro supply line from the checkpoint charleys when they are not using them for flood lamps. Condo renters would be an excellent source for power if you were to pony up a bit!

Not sure else how to help.

But when you are down and troubled, raise your voice to the heavens and SING! Yes, Sing!

Try this one on for size…

Song: You Plant Your Fields

Lyric:

(Wendy Waldman/Donny Lowery)

My father said some thing you learn
Only by doing when it comes your turn
Everything comes around so be ready if you can
Prepare your heart like the farmer turns the land
You plant your fields
When the spring is tender
When the summer beats down
You pray for rain
You hope for the harvest
And the long cold winter
And then you plant your fields again
He spoke right to my restless soul
Still wild and hungry and beyond control
For all that you dream there’s a time and a place
But you won’t know it till it comes your turn
You plant your fields
When the spring is tender
When the summer beats down
You pray for rain
You hope for the harvest
And the long cold winter
And then you plant your fields again

Both have many alternative sources of DC power for your field-recording rig. But hurry! It’s getting late!!
