Awesome lineup PB, can’t wait for June!!! :thumbsup :cheers :thumbsup

Lulz… :lol

Chatham County Line!! Hope they do a nightgrass show…!

Last year, Thile started things off with a solo set. Just him being himself. It was cool.

Rats. ANOTHER year without Justin Bieber. I was hoping for a duet with Bela.

Touche on getting the TDP not to publish their PDF yesterday evening! :cheers :evil

We may not be able to see Justin Bieber do a duet with Bela. But I am still holding out hope that an addition to this years artwork will contain a special insert, with Sam Bush giving Justin Bieber a big ole wedgie. :lol

I know, last year was amazing, but for the past few years he has done something different, I’m hoping for something new and unique. Though solo Thile is always welcome.

I had never heard of this festival until yesterday when Gillian Welch posted a link. I checked out the lineup and I’m not sure whether I’m ecstatic or devastated that I did! What a fantastic lineup! I am on the East Coast and it’s not very likely that I could make it but after reading the forum for hours upon hours I really wish I could. There is an invisible force that’s drawing me there and making me feel like I should have always been there :butterfly

In my experiences, it is not wise to resist the will of invisible forces. :flight

:love If things were to magically fall in place I would be there in a heartbeat. I’m drawn to come by myself but I would be a total newb at EVERYTHING and that is so very intimidating. I definitely need a new direction in my “Soul Journey”.

Then commit to it, and make it happen. Plan the trip, and start looking for a ticket (preferably a Town park camping pass). We know some people who might be able to help find the ticket, but you’ll have to have faith and patience.

Once you find yourself in Telluride, with a ticket, you won’t be alone any longer, you’ll have 10,000 of your closest friends there to help show you the way.

It’s genetic in some of us. Like swallows returning to San Capistrano, we find our way back to the harsh and nurturing cradle of the most beautiful box canyon on earth. If you’ve only now discovered you’re one of us, don’t deny your destiny.

Ahhhh if it were only that easy HuckinFappy! Too much going on on the home front right now but if things were to somehow pan out I would certainly jump right in. I do think I feel drawn there for a reason… Not only do I love incredible music but I love to play music too and I draw my musical energy from the same source that appears to be pulling me there. So I will strive to make it happen even if it has to be a goal for next year. I’ve written it in my planner and have my list of things to bring started  You definitely speak my language and I feel the magic and vibes so I must make it happen at some point, for sure.

This year I turn 68 and it will be my 34th journey to the festival so I’ve spent half my life coming to paradise. :flower

Once you’ve experienced the magic you can’t help but return again and again. :thumbsup

34 years. That’s a whole lot of music and fun. Pretty cool feat. :cheers

Wow TellurideTom, that is an amazing stretch you’ve done there! Makes me want to come all that much more

WOW that is something else!! Congrats :thumbsup :thumbsup This will be my first, so I have some catching up to do! I’ll get there eventually I hope :cheers So stoked for this year’s lineup and my first experience, lots of amazing bands that I have seen, want to see, and have not heard of before; much fun to be had in the beautiful San Juan Mountains! The best thing about festivals like Telluride is there is no down time for music, it is all consistently good, and just keeps coming at you:)
