Last year was my first at Telluride, and I enjoyed the camping experience. However, this year we’d like to rough it a bit less. A big reason for this is I’m bringing my son (6 years old) and wife (not a fan of camping).
Looking around at rentals for 6-8 people (maybe more), I don’t see anything for under $400 a night. Does anyone know if there are some good sites to search for cheaper rental properties? Or will things open up later in the year? We’re looking to stay 6/14-6/20.
Any insight is appreciated.
Our first year was 09 and we are doing the opposite…stayed in Mt. Village, now camping. Start scouring the VRBO website now. The rentals go fast for this week. Good Luck!
We stayed at the Viking Lodge last year. Great place. VRBO is the best place to find your rental…as you probably know, nothing is cheap in Telluride! Especially for Bluegrass. Good luck
Check out VRBO.com for sure.
Steer clear of craigslist, full of scammers!
Good luck on cheapness though…
we found a great place two blocks from TP on VRBO – highly recommended!
