Anyone have advice for charging electronic devices (e.g. cell phone, Itouch, etc.) during the festival? We’ll probably be using these devices less than normal but still need to stay in contact with the outside world at a minimal level. Plus, our 3 year old really likes to watch a movie every now and then on her Itouch and the battery runs down pretty quickly.
One of my buddies brought a small solar charger to Telluride last year to charge his iphone. He said he hated it and didn’t work well at all.
I usually just take my charger to a bar in town (Brown Dog pizza has outlets by the bar and wicked good wings) and plug in my phone while I’m drinking/eating. Also Baked in Telluride in the morning is a good place to charge your phone while you drink coffee and ease into the day.
Look up to the top area of this screen to find "search" and type “big battery”. My investment in a BIG BATTERY (85 amp marine), an adapter, and a charger is perfect for all you speak of. So far in my 10 day T’ride camping adventures, the charge has lasted all week! Can’t speak to the movies, but I charge phones, computers, run my cpap machine when I’m sleeping(tho that’s not that long I guess?). Works great!
Oh and if anyone is bring batteries, you may want to bring something to conceal them in since a few walked away last year- maybe put in an extra cooler or something
