Yes, you can. According to the website here, http://www.bluegrass.com/telluride/tickets.html, single day tickets for Saturday (and all days) are not available until Spring.
Yes you can. I’ll warn you though, I did that once ('89 I think), and drove out of town kicking myself and asking “What was I thinking??!!?!”.

Just like what HuckinFappy said, you can, but I wouldn’t recommend it when there are plenty of four day passes still available. If you can only make it on Saturday, though, one day is better than nothing.
