My family have been wanting to come for years, but have never been able to work it out. We were planning on bringing our travel trailer, but it turns out we’re 5 feet too long to camp at Lawson Hill. Soooo, with 2 adults and 4 kids, if we bring a tent, are campsites big enough to accommodate us? If we had an adult and kids tent would that be rude and taking up too much space? Thanks in advance for any help.
I would think that you would be able to find space in any campground. You will have to have a camping pass for each person so space will already be accounted for. At least that is how it works in Town Park. I have never camped anywhere else.
Children 12 and under are free with paying adult for festival tickets and camping. :thumbsup
You’ll find tons of space, and shouldn’t be crowding anyone camping at the Mary E Illium campground. Only drawback is its a bus ride to and from the festival grounds, but its a nice beautiful area with access to great hiking.
Thanks Tom for the correction, having never had kids with me at Telluride, I forgot about kids under 12 being FREE! :pirate
