OK Run a Muckers here we go… Who’s in for this year at TBF? Let me know in whatever way is fashionable.
Major upgrades are in store, thanks so much to our fellow festivarians for the donations.
Much Love…
I regret to inform everyone that I will be attending again this year. Sorry. Please beware of Run-A-Muck’s new extended bar to help over-serve you better.
Thanks for the warning Hooch. Camp HulaGanz has installed an new early warning detection system to identify either bacon or crunchy or both in some cases, within 100 ft of the waterfall. We look forward to sharing festival fat and/or frog with you again. ~ Paul
Curious to see the upgrades? :huh
I mean you already have a stage, PA system, light show, and cooks. What’s next air conditioning!
I look forward to seeing you all again soon :wave
Well, I’ll be there, of course. Not that I’d be camping anywhere near you guys, but I’ll be there to drink your frog and otherwise participate in the debauchery.
I’ve never had the good fortune of showing up to R2R, tho hopefully one day :abduct… I think that’s even further than TBF for me? (and probs too hot :burn)
But I can’t wait to stroll the gauntlet to Run a Muck, from the ever so peaceful confines of the P’area! :cheers SKOL!
This will be our first year in TP. Arriving midday on Sat so I’m not exactly sure where we’ll end up…but we will definitely be stopping by RAM for the Crunchy. Looking forward to seeing you guys again!
Welcome to the 2017 edition of the TBF pre fest RaM letter.
First off, this year, we want to give a huge thank you to all of the campers that have helped fund our upgraded Party Palace/Community Center. You will be all impressed by how much the new open space floor plan suits our needs. Thank You!
Most of you already know that RaM is a cooperative camp, we all pitch in to make this an exceptional festival experience. Hooch, Sugar, and I have been hard at work since last June, getting ready to see all of your shining faces.
Once again we will be sourcing most all of our fresh food needs locally with cash dollars, a great way to keep our money local. A sliding scale donation of 10-20$ per person per day will cover our expenses and is greatly appreciated. We have propane, kitchen, and winter storage to think about. If you have special dietary needs please, by all means, bring them or let us know.
Run a Muck will provide daily hot breakfast with Unseen Bean Coffee ( thanks Gerry for sending us the coffee for no charge), open bar, afternoon snacks, and evening, camp made, sourdough pizza. We’ll especially need some volunteer help for pizza feeds.
What to bring:
Your beautiful selves and personal camping gear, an open mind, and a desire to check your “drama at the door”. Festival lounge chairs for the living room are also very cool.
Please remember that we are the 1st recipient of the green campsite challenge in Telluride. We will have dish washing facilities, a commercial grade kitchen, and a solar powered charging station. Your washable personal eating utensils are encouraged. A big shout out and thank you to Eco Products for supplying our compostable material needs thhis year!, we can use any extras to serve our guests. Everything is compostable in camp Run a Muck, including you.
We have a need for:
Flour tortillas
Propane. Lots of Propane for Pizza
Shredded cheese for Pizza and Breakfast
Your favorite pizza topping (especially meat)
hard avocados (they will ripen through the week).
A bottle of your favorite beverage of choice.
A bottle of your favorite Mixer
BACON
Volunteer Opportunities:
Pitch in wherever you can!
Sign up for a pre fest dinner. Your favorite camp food, bring it on!
We have a special need for folks to stay “late” on Monday to help with load out.
We love you all and are excited to see each and every one of you.
Hooch shot me your Google spread sheet and I had him list the crawfish boil for landrush Saturday at 4pm, not sure if you have something else going on. Figured we were shooting for the same slot as last year. In addition I told him I’d be down for helping out one of the days you do pizza, as I just bought a new camp chef for camp and I’m interested to see how your oven performs! I have flour tortillas, how many you need? I’ll also have some toppings for ya!!
