Camp Run a Muck roll call 2016

Bacon, Beer, n Booze!

…n Bluegrass!

:thumbsup You mean there’s music too?

:peace

RaM update: I’ve got about half of the gear pulled from the storage unit to be sorted/cleaned. No dead bodies discovered so far, so already that’s better than last year. Crunchy Frog fixin’s arrive via special order at my local liquor store today so will be donning the HazMat suit. Hippie is currently fabricating 2 new kitchen table work-spaces to better service the inmates and visiting special guests. We will also have electric food processing for making salsa and hummus, so bring your best recipes. Bobby Bulleit has funded some very nice pickin’ stools, so those will be a cool upgrade for anyone brave enough to play the solar-powered Run-A-Muck stage. More updates will be forthcoming as Hippie and I slowly get our sh*t together. And remember: The cheese stands alone.

:wave
Speak for your self Hooch, I’m stuck in a science fiction double feature and thinking a straight jacket might be a good option. Must be the fumes from the finish I’m using on the new tables.

:peace

Maybe we can add some of those “fumes” to the crunchy frog to help mellow it out a bit.

:wave
Be careful with that lighter :burn

:peace

Wow just combine the finish with the Frog…and I duess that would give you a Finnish Frog! Oofta! :pirate

So cool to see/hear the :pirate PIRATE :pirate showing off his 'Sota heritage… :jester

Now that joke is just about as tasteful as crunchy frog :eek

Pirate Larry, you are drunk!

…and at work!

Are you coming this year? Missed you last year.

First timers at TP and TBGF, with my wife and me. Looking forward to all the great music and meeting some like minded folks who appreciate a good jam session. I welcome any help and advice you can give. In return I promise to bring a a bottle of smuggled Cuban Rum - Havana Club! The greatest alcoholic concoction ever created for mankind…and some local microbrews.

As a trade we would love some help in finding the right spot during festivities. We’ll be pulling in on Tuesday to set up and I’m hoping our cluelessness doesn’t become completely apparent until after I find a site and get the tent up. Thanks for any help as this forum has been outstanding. I appreciate all your words of wisdom.

Tuesday is pretty late. My first piece of advice is to get there sooner. However, if that really is the earliest you can arrive, what you’ll need to do as soon as you arrive is crack open a drink and wander around. Talk to the folks who are already set up and you will find a spot to set up. Definitely come up to Run a Muck (hell, depending on where you land, you might even be in our front yard) and have a shot with us.

Mmmm … rum!! :cheers I’ve been leaning towards Zaya Gran Reserve. Never thought rum could taste so good!!

Anyway, Sugar is right on. Earlier is better, if not, grab a drink and start walking around and talk to folks. You will find a spot, make new friends, and probably get drunk before even getting your tent set up.

Never Never Never!!! Get drunk before you set your tent up! Just ask Hippie Jerry about that experience! :pirate

:wave HA
Wasn’t that right before I convinced the federal police that we really were a harmless bunch and arresting us all was more of a hassle than it was worth? Besides I seem to recall it was YOUR Cazadores that got that ball rolling sir :pirate

:peace

If you don’t get drunk before setting up your tent then I can’t respect you. Troutbum, definitely get a lay of the land and meet some folks before picking a spot. But, carry a tarp with you so that, when you do find a spot, you can claim it with the tarp while you go fetch the rest of your gear. Also, it certainly wouldn’t hurt to also walk around with the bottle of rum. Anyone wondering around TP with a tarp and a bottle of rum will soon have many friends.

Remember, you will still have to drive up to Mountain Village to park your car so don’t over indulge. :cheers
