Do any of you have experience buying tickets off of Craigslist (or from other posters on this fourm)? I have found somebody willing to sell me their tickets, but they are printed from a computer, and not a hard copy. Should I be concerned about them being counterfit? Is there any way to validate the authenticity of the tickets before I lay down $640? Your input is appreciated!
BEWARE ALMOST EVERY TICKET RIGHT NOW ON CRAIGSLIST IS A SCAM!!!
If you have the original purchaser’s name, you can call us here at Planet Bluegrass and we can at least verify that they indeed have the tickets that you want to purchase. All tickets are e-tickets for RockyGrass and Folks Festival so that is not fishy at all.

Thanks Jasmine.
Is there anyway to transfer ownership of the tickets in the Planet Bluegrass system?
the $640 you’re talking about - that’s for four tickets, right? Face value?
I would be very careful of any tickets on Craig’s List. Don’t go for any transaction that involves going through an “ebay agent”. You might want to check out the posts on ticket scams and scalpers on the Telluride ticket exchange board.
The e-tickets are convenient in some ways, but they do make it easy for slimeballs to sell the same ticket over and over. Get as much info as possible on the seller.
Don’t forget to check the Returned Ticket Resale page on the Planet Bluegrass site on Tuesdays at noon Mountain time.
