As we await the lineup…what is your number one fantasy TBF booking? I’m looking for actively touring, TBF Appropriate acts that YOU personally have never seen at the festival. Who should grace the valley?
Mine?
Kris Kristoffersion
Who else?

Probably because I’ve been in a jazz mood lately, Medeski, Martin and Wood. Scofield added to that would be a bonus.
Hands Down as a big headliner- Jack White
The guy crosses all musical genres, even bluegrass. Look
up his vids. He’s worked with everyone- Loretta Lynn,
Willie Nelson and Neil Young to name a small few.Forget your White Stripes
Memories because he’s way more than that. He could mesh
With any artist at TBF. Come on TBF, give him a shot.
MMW would be pretty sweet. If we’re talking jazz I’d also love to see Chris Thile & Brad Mehldau do their thing.
A Jack White solo show would be great. Guy is a genius with the guitar.
Willie Nelson. He’s played there twice before (once in 1982 and once in 1999), but not while I was in attendance.
If I had to pick someone who has never played the festival, I would probably go with Neil Young in any form. Be it CSNY, with Crazy Horse, or a Buffalo Springfield Reunion.
For me it would be David Byrne. I STILL can’t get over that last TBF performance!
I still can’t get over how much those dancers needed oxygen about two numbers into the set.
100% Professionals that night. :thumbsup
Auntie Hope :festivarian2 :green
I’ll second everyone’s choices. Jack White is great. MMW too. I’ve never seen Kris Kristofferson so throw that in there as well!
I’ve never seen Keb Mo so that’s my offering. His style lends itself to a small venue but TBF, while big and airy, is intimate in its own way.
Boo Reiners!!! Banjo god that fills in for TRISHKA…
I think Jack White is one of the greatest modern guitarists of this era. He has played with so many people, and crossed over to so many genres. I think he definetly deserves an overdue crack at TBF! Right on to all of the choices too.
It’s line-up announcement day. I can’t believe how often I’m checking this site. Next year, I’ll try to “get a life”, but until then I can’t seem to think of much else besides the announcement.
Please announce soon so I can get off of this site. It’s really causing havoc here at 70 mph on I-25!
ZAPPA! ZAPPA! ZAPPA! :lol
Where’s the lineup announcement? I’ve been checking it out all day! This is the best/most anxious time of the year
Stop it! :lol I don’t think I’ve ever been this excited for this length of time EVER!!! Just when ya think you’ve done it all. :burn :medal
I don’t even want to think about how many times I’ve refreshed this message board today… :drool
Gotta agree with wanting Willie Nelson and David Byrne back… and … something totally off the wall … but somehow fitting … Weird Al Yankovic. I know … nowhere near Bluegrass … but … just think how FUN it would be.
Oh my god, this would be awesome. He was in my town this summer, but I had a gig. I was very upset.
:hop :clap
Christmas morning, still waiting for Santa!! :lol
Wow something’s up… :rolleyes or they want us to squirm a tad longer :lol
I know Zappa can be hard to book but I know PBG you can do it :flower. :burn :burn :burn :flower
