Both Alison Brown and Bela Fleck have Christmas records I enjoy, both very much in their unique styles.

Sammy Davis Jr. and Frank Sinatra, just can’t do it… :lol
I did notice Bela and the Flecktones had a new Christmas CD , think I’ll order it…
I saw the Flectones this past Friday playing music off their Christmas album with the Alash Ensamble (a group of 4 tuvan throat singers). It was awesome! (though the volume could have been cranked up about 50% or more)
Wasn’t quite a typical Flecktones show for me, but still a great album having been listening to it on and off since October.
Just as an FYI, “Jingle All the Way” has been #1 on the Jazz charts for the past 2 weeks, and has been nominated for 2 grammy’s.

first listen was typical for jazz, confusing… :huh
