For all the bacon aficionado’s out there: http://www.npr.org/blogs/health/2011/01/28/133304206/why-bacon-is-a-gateway-to-meat-for-vegetarians?ps=cprs
Awesome. Most people don’t know that vegetarians eat bacon. It’s true.
-the colder (firmer) the fat, the less the bacon will curl
-65-70% of bacon in the US is eaten at breakfast
-a single serving is 3 slices
ummm another fun fact about bacon…
-the avg American eats about 15lbs of bacon a year
oh yeah.
WOW! Bacon

The problem with converting vegetarians to bacon-eaters is then there is one more person trying to eat my bacon. So, morally I approve of helping vegetarians find Jesus (bacon), but on the other hand it ultimately means less bacon for me which goes against one of the basic animal instincts of trying to defend against predators to insure that you and your family have enough food to survive. It’s all a very circular dilema that has vexed man from the early cave-dweller days.
A single serving - 3 slices??? Not at my house! :lol
And I guess I’m above average ;), because I usually cook at least a pound every weekend.
