Arriving late?

Okay, so I’ve been to TBF on a couple occasions, but always just for the day. This year we are camping at Lawson Hill. I’ve searched the forum, but haven’t quite found the info I’m looking for, so here goes…

We’ll be getting into telluride thursday morning (the 18th), which is a bit later than most by the sound of it, so I imagine we’ll be out on the Lawson fringe. I have a pretty substantial pack list (of which at least 50% is liquid libations :cheers). How do I get all my “stuff” to my spot…wagon, llama, Sherpa? Any advice is appreciated.

I camped at Lawson last year… I arrived Wednesday afternoon and had friends already holding a spot for me (only cuz it was along the east fence line, in the only morning shade)… There is no other way to get your gear to your spot than by you carrying it. :strong (thank goodness I had a walker to load up, lol) If you have room to pack a wagon, it might come in handy depending on how far into the campground you decide to pitch camp (especially since your liquid libations will be heavy!). As far as the area filling up, I wouldn’t be too worried about finding a good spot… As far as I remember, it didn’t really get packed until Fri/Sat…
:thumbsup
I had it hard… Imagine my trouble trying to navigate a walker thru the sea of tents after a long day at the festival friday nite!! At least I was able to meet some great folks along the way… :talk

gracias hipchica!

This will be my third, friends and I have camped at lawson each year. Depending on what time you arrive, PB will likely have a volunteer helping to load in and out. There has always been a plastic wagon/wheelbarrow thing of some sort. But most importantly, it is not that far, and incredibly tame. It is a baseball field, nice and easy going. Can’t wait to see you folks in a few weeks. :cheers

:wave Bring a wagon…

:peace

There were wheelbarrows there last year, pretty sweet if ya ask me!!

:thumbsup

Thanks guys! See you there.

Well jeez… I wonder how I missed the wheelbarrow thingie last year…? It’s a good thing I had my walker, lol… And, of course the help of my friends!!
