I’m bringing mine and hoping that there will be a clear trail or two to ride one of the days. Is anyone else bringing theirs?
If you’ve a Town Park ticket, you’ll find loads of people to ride with. The boys at Camp Flamingo (Josh, Mike, etc.) are hard-core riders and ride virtually every day… with the possible exception of the second day they are there… having partied like rockstars the first night! JD is a guy that camps in the reserve, is a competitive-level rider and is always looking for people to ride with.
Just ask around for those names as a start. There are people on this list… but I’ll let them speak up.

Hey, I’m bringing my bike and will be there Friday night. I also know that Punchy is going to rent a bike for a ride or two Tuesday.
Hopefully some of the trails are snow-free. I just drove through the San Juan mountains yesterday and there’s still a buttload of snow. But it’s nice and warm these days so melt-off will be quick.
I’ve got a Warner Field ticket so I guess I get access to TP eh? Cool, I’ve never ridden down there and would like to do so if the trails are clear. I was up in Indian Peaks last week and there was still two feet of snow on parts of the 4th of July trail.

I was just thinking about posting that same question. I’m renting a bike on Monday and Tuesday next week and hoping on getting at least some half-day sessions. I would love to get some back crounty rides in if anybody feels like a little adventure. I had some trails mapped out last year, but I couldn’t find my notes on it the other night.
I’'ll coming from sea-level so I’m looking forward to the lung workout for sure…and the beer afterwards… :cheers

The ride leaves camp
I’m camping in Warner Field and am wondering where I would lock my bike up at or would I leave it in the car or…?
There will be lots of bike racks nearby and around Warner. There’s also plenty of chain link fence around Warner. You might not have easy access to your vehicle, depending on when you arrive. Do not, however, lock your bike to a tree. The town of Telluride asks that we not damage the trees by locking bikes to them. But there will be more than a few options for locking your bike - it’s a really bike-friendly town. No worries there!
