Any Pictures of Mary E Camp site?

First TBF! :wave

My husband and I have camping passes for Mary E. We’re from Central PA, middle-aged, middle-class, middle-management folks who have gotten a bit too big around the middle. :eek

Does anyone have pictures they can share so we have an idea of what I’ve gotten us into?

Oh, and just HOW cold does it get at night?

I don’t have any pictures, but it can get below freezing at night. Most people wear coats and hats and everything to sleep in.

Now thats no way to be gettin reved for fest big mama. Cold, hua what cold, all you need are socks and a hat , sleep naked and snuggle you stay toasty warm. Come on lil pilgrum, it’s time to get reved :cheers

:thumbsup great mind think alike Miki :medal

It’s much better to sleep naked, inside of a tent. Much warmer that way. Plus you never know what might come up… SUR

Nekkid sleeping – check! Another advantage to being naturally well-insulated :thumbsup Glad we’re leaving the kid at home.

I have so many questions – watch out for the volley of new threads!

Hang on a second there Big Mama :thumbsup

Please take a minute to explore this section of the forum. You will probably find all of your answers questioned. Much of it is already here!!! :flower

Thanks for the link! I can’t see it now from work (website blocked by the IT powers-the-be :(, which makes googling here frustrating), but I’ll check it out when I am home.

Hippie, I will happily forum surf first to see what I can find.

“Oh, and just HOW cold does it get at night?”

I have a recipe that will take the chill right off the bone, even at 9000’

  1. Pour one part Bourbon into a glass
  2. …I forgot the second step
  3. Drink

Seriously though, best advice I never listened to when I moved to CO.

  1. Drink Water
  2. When you leave prepare for any/all weather it changes fast
  3. Drink More Water
