I rolled my tickets over last year. Both for the festival, and camping. I get an email today, saying that now my ticket is good for a single weekend, as long as I spend $3000 dollars to purchase a 10x10 corral? And then I would have to spend $375 to camp at Mary E Illum… who do I talk to about a refund? This is a blatant $ grab, taking advantage of people starved for entertainment, and far out of the normal fans price range. Very disappointed in Planet Bluegrass right now.
Sorry but you have misunderstood. You are under no obligation to purchase 2021 tix. Should you choose to go to TBF in 2022, the tickets you rolled over are already fulfilled and paid for and will be waiting for you.
Taken directly from PB’s e-mail:
“You are receiving this email because you postponed or donated your 2020 Telluride Bluegrass tickets.”
“As a thank you, you will get priority to buy tickets to this year’s festival.”
“Regardless of whether you purchase tickets this year, your 2020 ticket will be rolled over to 2022.”
Yup! ^^
You don’t have to purchase for 2021. Your tickets are automatically rolled over to 2022. You are getting an option to purchase. That’s all.
I think Planet Bluegrass is going out of its way to be fair actually. Miracle that they are providing a live music option at all. Wish Australia was open and I could go too but can’t wait till 2022 when I can see you all again
The $3k pays for 10 people. Doesn’t sound terrible to me, just more logistics to fill up your corral. Isn’t that right?

I haven’t been following along very close, but curious if those who wanted their 2020 tickets to be used for 2021 will be able to “cash out” this year if they opt not purchase or roll over into 2022?
Yup. After May 15 folks may request a refund for 2020 tix deferred to 2022.
I heard you can get refunds starting on May 15. If you are not using your promo code, I would be forever grateful if you could send it to me at kristinamadigan@yahoo.com
We are a group of ten from MN who has had lodging booked since October and we are DESPERATE for code to get a corral! Let me know!
Thanks!
