Additions to the lineup

I’m seeing Lake Street still on the list, but they’ve changed it to thumbnails, with links to the bands except Toy factory.

And now daily lineups are out 2025 Main Stage Lineup — Planet Bluegrass • Colorado Music Festivals & Concerts • Lyons, CO

Looks like The Bygones are gone from the lineup, which is a bummer. Was excited to see them. Also looks like they shifted some others around. Hopefully they have a good replacement on deck…

Well we have tried our best, but we don’t get what’s so amazing about Zach Top. I mean we live in Oklahoma, few miles from Garth Brooks, you can’t walk down the street without hearing 90’s country played. But why would anyone think that was the greatest country music! Pretty sure we’ll be packing up during this set, even if he brings along Billy!

He has a pretty deep bluegrass background so maybe his TBF set will be skewed in that direction kind of like Dierks did in 2017?

I’ll agree that what Dierks does at TBF is better than his “normal” stuff, at least by my standards. But, I also didn’t stick around long for those sets either, and would loosely call it bluegrass. All the 90’s country Garth Brooks Okies love Zach Top, I barely made it through the 90’s country when it was the 90’s. I prefer my country from the 50’s-early 70’s. Once Country music started trying to compete with rock for the younger audiences in the 70’s and 80’s it became something awkward and contrived, again in my opinion. I saw Garth in a tiny venue when I was in high school, he knew how to put on a show, and about that time he was pairing with the right folks and heading to Nashville, music didn’t get any better, but the show’s got huge and he went worldwide. Everyone for the next 10 years tried to be like Garth, one thing I will say about Zach Top is he can really pick, Garth could barely strum!

All and all its an excellent line up and it Toy Factory comes up with a few surprises…even better. Marcus King would be ammmaaazing.
