Hey folks :wave What a stressed filled morning again.
What campsites did everyone get? Are you planning in staying in your site during festival or just week before June 11?
Our group got Site 8. And, we will stay there through festival, with sprinter camper, and 5 normal camping tents. Yes, our vehicle pass holder has health issues which require her to have battery power and comfort of vehicle. We look forward to trying out a new area of TP.
Who’s in 7 and 9?
:cheers
Can’t wait to swap songs, and share brews!
That’s an awesome site, I stayed there for just regular camping a few years ago. I got a spot in primitive! Hoping to keep it throughout festival too. Can’t wait to meet everyone!
Cay & I will be getting in on the 7th and camping in primitive for ABGAT and will likely stay put where we are when PB takes over. It’ll be the same spot that we had last year both weekends, along Bear Creek (River Rest). This morning was worth it. Wasn’t too bad minus the hiccup of the website saying we couldn’t book out over 15 days in advance, which I believe was a residual feature of the “preview” site.
I think it’s called Hidden Hollow! I tried to get the same spot I camped in (not during festival) a few years ago. Hopefully it doesn’t mess up anyone’s camp setup and I can stay there the whole fest. Really looking forward to festival, it’s going to be great. I can’t wait to meet everyone.
You will definitely meet a bunch of cool campers! :flower Henfresh was asking on the other thread about Cottonwood Corner, otherwise known as Cat Fact Corner during festival. Stock up on all your best cat facts for them! :medal They often have good picking and other craziness going on there. Awesome people and camps all over. Most of us were pretty stressed this morning as our camps host a variety of events during the prefest and we weren’t sure how everything would shake out.
Hey don’t call my van a sprinter, lol
However, I am the person in the Winnebago Travato (Ram Promaster chassis) and if we have sun for the solar, I will have a power supply out most days for charging small electronics.
I also make a pretty tasty red beer (BYOB) and will have lots of things to put in them - including homemade ferments and other fun things, so stop by and say hi!
Denise, I didn’t mean to insult your beauty of a vehicle. Proper terminology is a problem these days! Y’all we lovingly refer to Denise as “Camp Mama” and she has been our friend for many years, and a “Mama” to all in festy/camp situations! So excited to have her in the mix this year! She’s and ex Pat Okie living in CO.
