2021 Telluride Bluegrass Festival Ticket Update

E-mail to existing ticket holders, from PB, as of 4/27/21

Ticket prices

First weekend corral (for ten people): $3,000
Second weekend corral (for ten people): $4,000

We have coordinated limited camping in the Town Park and Mary E. Illium Campgrounds. Camping is an add on to the above price, and all existing ticket holders will have equal opportunity to purchase. Spaces are very limited. Your corral group must match your camping group.

Camping Prices

Town Park
$1,250 per weekend
$300 for two vehicles

Mary E. Illium
$750 per weekend
$300 for two vehicles

Camping Logistics

Campsites will be limited to 1,250 square feet (1,875 square feet for vehicle sites), so please plan accordingly. Vehicle sites will be marked along the roadway and are first come first serve. If a vehicle site is purchased, attendees must camp in one of the reserved vehicle sites in their campground. All campsites are required to be 6 feet away other sites.

First weekend camping will open Wednesday, June 9th. If you do not have tickets to the second weekend, you must be out of your campsite by Monday, June 14th at noon.

Second weekend camping will open Tuesday, June 15th. Everyone must be out by Monday, June 21st at noon.

Full steam ahead, you can buy tickets! Everyone will receive an email from See Tickets this week that contains a promo code to access a private on-sale. Check your spam if you don’t see it come through. Tickets will go on sale FRIDAY, April 30th at 10am MT.

Beginning at 9am MT you will be able to enter a virtual waiting room where you will be randomly assigned a number in line. Please note that this number is random, and will not be indicative of the time you arrived.

When it’s your turn, you will be prompted to enter your promo code. You will be able to add one corral to your cart, at which point you will need to input your promo code again at the bottom of the page. Camping, both Town Park and Mary E., will be an optional add-on.

We recommend coordinating with your friends beforehand to avoid overlap, and letting your issuing bank know to expect a sizable charge on your card. All ticket sales are NON REFUNDABLE.

Will Call will be the only delivery option this year. You will be required to show us the credit card used, as well as your photo ID in person in Telluride in order to pick up your wristbands.

We understand it is likely that not all of you will be able to attend this year based on these restrictions. This is the unfortunate reality of Covid events, and we look forward to welcoming you home once it is safe to do so.

Regardless of whether you purchase tickets this year, your 2020 ticket will be rolled over to 2022. If you are interested in a refund, you can do so beginning May 15th. Please call our office after that date to coordinate.

The limitations this year have prompted us to explore a new avenue: livestream! We are partnering with our friends at Mandolin to present a ticketed video livestream of both weekends.

This year, you will be able to enjoy the familiar keening tones from the comfort of your own home. More information will be released soon. We are still exploring a Night Grass plan, and will be in touch as we have additional information.

Our team will continue the administration of sweet musical elixir, and have more days of music planned than ever before. We look forward to sharing in this harmonious euphoria together.

Sound good? Awesome. Let the Festivation begin!

Cheers,
The Planet Bluegrass team

Thanks for providing consistent and updated info during a crazy time Alex!!!

Happy to do it. Just trying to help where I can. I’ll be there for TBF this year, but truly looking forward to 2022 when EVERYONE can make it & we can do things properly!

Any word on when remaining pods will be available for those who are not existing ticket holders? DESPERATE for corral for second weekend…have had lodging booked since October!

According to PB, the expectation is that there will be no remaining pods for sale for non-existing ticket holders. Your only option is for you join a purchased pod! Plenty of folks will be buying them without having a group of 10, so they will def. be looking for folks to join in to help pay down that charge haha. Best bet is to stay on this forum for when folks post. There are several FB groups that will be hawt starting Friday. Good luck :thumbsup

Bummer as we already have a group of 10… I will definitely stay on this site and keep looking. While I am listed here as a “Newbie” I am just new to the forum…went to my first festival in 1990 and have been festivating ever since! Hoping to make this happen for daughter’s graduation from college!

Nice! I would check the “Telluride Ticket Exchange / Swap” regularly on the forum!

I agree with Alex, there will be plenty of us that will be trying to completely fill pods. If you want to go I believe you will be there. Just keep checking the this forum, the various FB groups and networking with all your friends! Hope to see you in June!! :cheers

Anyone seen an email with the code? I called PB to change my email address and they said they were going out around noon…

Just received the See Tickets message. Good luck tomorrow everyone.

In reading the detailed instructions from See Tickets the coral or camping are not reserved (although they are in your cart)until everything is added, the t’s are crossed, the i’s dotted.
It seems to me that those who are looking to purchase only a corall pod without camping have an advantage as they will get to the checkout page quicker than those with the add on (camping).
If more people buy the corral than add camping, when the corals sell out will there be unclaimed camping spots left?
Just wondering’…

And it seems that if something is sold out, it won’t indicate if it was the camping or the coral, just your selection is not available. If camping does sell out before the corals, it would be nice to know so that a purchaser could get a coral and then work on where to stay…

Maybe I read this all wrong in my excitement.

Yep, it’s probably gonna be crazy and many frustrated people. I’d bet best bet is if you have a organized crew intent on TP camping, some folks should be trying for camping only, and some for Pods. Hope all my friends get what they want.

Can anyone point me to a map that shows where the different colored corrals will be located?

Link was in Tuesday’s email showing prices and corral capacity and size.

Also I can’t see where you’ll be able to purchase camping ( the add on ) without already placing a festival corral pod in your cart…

that’s an image and not a link in my email?

had both weekends in cart, try to add camping with cars, no button to push to add to cart, even tho 7 were shown as avaialbe. press checkout, and just stays on same page. so who knows what happened! shucks
even tied “skip this” and stuck on the page.
not meant to be this year

Hopefully you didn’t give up! I think it may have been because you were only able to purchase 1 corral at a time? Did you figure it out? It wasn’t sold out as of this past weekend.

Just got an email from PB. Looks like there will be a public sale of tickets this Friday at 10AM MT. these are probably either the unsold pods or the chance for locals to buy.

Still corrals left as of this morning for Solstice weekend
