2016 single-day lineup

Im really hoping for a Victor Wooten elks park workshop !!!

Ryan is one of my all time favorites and he was indeed difficult to see for a few years there. I saw him last April and it was great to see him loving life and loving performing again. I hope everyone gives him another chance!

I second that Emotion. His previous workshop remains one of my fondest Festival memories. What a talent!

Does that cut come with a set of combs?

Seriously Bevin, thanks for the laugh. :thumbsup

For Scubes…

In 2007 this pip squeek of a dobro player walked into Run-a-Muck and we put him to work dumping gray water from the kitchen sink and schucking oysters. I have followed every musical move that “kid” has made since.

9 years and 10 Fests later, Anders and the rest of the crew of GSBG have a closing set, and I for one could not be more proud, not only of GSBG, but the festivarian family that has continuously supported this band for the long haul.

On that “other matter”…
Redemption is at hand. Prepare to be blown away. :thumbsup

nice gsbg tidbit auntie hope! :peace

Im so happy to hear that story. Truly the band that captured my heart at my first TBF. Cannot wait to see them again, thanks :flower :flower :wave

I would love to see one of these years an Elks Park Greensky Bluegrass/Railroad Earth set . That one they had before was one of my favorite workshop sets .

I was glad to see Ryan added to the lineup. I have to say, I was surprised…My guess is that something personal was going on in his life, or maybe there was a sour business deal…who knows? But I do very distinctly remember, as they prepared to walk off stage after their final song, Ryan leaned up to the mic and said “Thankyou Telluride…we LOVE bluegrass!” in a most sarcastic way after the sets he just played. It was strange, because he obviously really gets a lot of influence from folk and bluegrass. I’m guessing he and the staff of TBF had a little talk and all will work out fine! Very excited to see the second go’round!

Ryan can redeem himself by showing up early and doing “To be Young” with DRM.
I doubt that he cares either way, he sells lots of albums, plays big shows, and has personal issues that are larger than any gig.
