Wait wait wait? I thought The String Cheese Incident AND Leftover Salmon were playing the 40th this year? :eek How is it that not even a “Drew and Friends” or “Billy Nershi and Friends” gets planned with 2 of the biggest jamgrass touring acts playing the festival? :huh :huh :huh :huh :huh :huh
I love Telluride as much as the next person, but it sure seems the Nightgrass options are poorly thought out and disappointing this year… :mad
PB gives SCI a 2nd to last slot at the Festival proper, no headlining slot, and absolutely ZERO Nightgrass love!??!?? WHAT GIVES PB??? 
well ferg or dusty wrote in a post over a month ago neither los or sci would be getting a late night so old news but anyway i think its nice they are switching it up a bit and giving some other folks a night gig. hopefully drew and vince will be sitting in on a bunch of them. but 2 yonder shows is a bit much unless they get a bunch of guests up in that sheridan show.
can sci even come up with enough material for just their mainstage “oldskool” set? without repeating themselves on the grassy stuff a late night would probably turn into an untzy rave no doubt.
I’m no festival scholar, but Yonder seems to play the festival opener and a NightGrass Sheridan show almost every year… that can’t surprise anyone. I like it – they always bring it for those shows.
hopefully no los latenight means they might be picking in the park until the weee hours.
Haha! I can pretty much guarantee that there will be, if someone has two Town Park tickets for Camp Howdy!!

I’m new to Telluride Bluegrass Festival this year. You can only request up to two tickets for the lottery. There are 3 people in my group so how does that work if two of us get tickets and one doesn’t?? So either we take a chance that one one person is left by themselves or not try at all. It seems they should let you ask for up to four. Anyone have any ideas about this? We really want to go but it be shitty for one person to end up left out.
Such is life my friend, sometimes you win and sometimes you just party at your campsite. These venues are small, if they did let us request 4 tickets it would seriously cut down on the amount of people who could win. If all three of you are going to be there then everyone can enter and just take your chances. Good luck to you and your friends!

I was curious how late the night grass shows usually go?

I know that the Sheridan ends EXACTLY on time, no joke… but that doesn’t mean the band wont take it outside for bit!! After nightgrass ends, I suggest wondering around to see who stuck around for an extra encore.

Is it a 2 ticket limit for the tickets on sale on Thursday? Trying to plan with my group our best plan.
I just got another email from PB telling me that I didn’t get nightgrass tickets to Mumford and Sons. Is PB just trying to rub it in, or did somebody forget to change the email subject when they sent out the “loser” emails for the other nightgrass shows?
